WHO WE ARE...
A grassroots group of citizens from the Town of McCandless, a community of over 28,000 residents, situated north of Pittsburgh. The group was formed in July of 2014 when our Town Council voted to approve the sale the Blazier Drive Property to Walmart. We continue to advocate for thoughtful development and broader citizen participation in government.

WHAT WE ARE DOING...
A group of 17 residents filed a suit with the Town Council of McCandless and the Walmart Estate Business Trust in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County, PA. The lawsuit is on it's third appeal. For more details, click here.

Publishing on Facebook for our growing group of like-minded citizens to inform our neighbors about activities and current news.

Attending Town Council, and Committee meetings that are open to the public. Our aim is to focus attention on town planning, to encourage more transparency in local govenment and better stewardship from our elected representatives.

Organizing a leadership team to focus on such areas as environmental issues, communications, fundraising and political action.

Small Businesses in McCandless will also be greatly impacted by a variety of issues. We are inviting them to add their voice to this mission.
